Information Systems Research Division is involved in information communications
systems as social infrastructure, conducting research, making technical
proposals and developing the systems. Associated with the proliferation
of the Internet, the changes in network-related technology are remarkable
and the range of its applications is also expanding.
The Division builds various experimental environments to propose accurate
information systems for surveying and analyzing these movements. With
Internet-related technology, applications are being developed using GIS
and JAVA. This technical expertise is also being fed back into the development
of the IBS information system.
